Wedding time!

This fun couple came to me last spring for family and 1 year pictures of their beautiful daughter. Now they are getting married and asked me to be a part of their fun day! Can't wait for May!

Wedding April 20th!

This fun couple called me late August...I think... and left me a message that they were interested in me doing their wedding for them in April of next year. I called Tracey back, set up a time to meet...wrote it down and everything.....And I stood them up! I'm not even kidding! Didn't even cross my mind that I had somewhere to be until I listened to my missed call....I was sick to my stomach! How unprofessional of me! When we reconnected on the phone Tracey was very gracious and gave me a second chance. When we met I knew this couple was going to be fun to work with! I can't wait for their wedding next spring! Congrats Tracey and Kris and I hope you have fun planning the wedding :-)

Close to my Heart

This BEAUTIFUL gal is someone close to my heart. When I lived in Kearney and was newly married her mother asked me to do a Jr. High girls bible study at their home in Minden. And for 3 years I was blessed to be a part of Mackenzie and a few other girl's lives. What a blessing they were to me!
Now Mackenzie is all grown up and getting married!!!! I am so honored to be a part of her special day!

Trip to Omaha

About 4 months ago I met this wonderful couple whom I am doing their wedding in 2013. We made a plan that I would come to Omaha and take the engagement pictures downtown.....Then of course it RAINED!!!! For the first time in like 60 days it rained constantly for 2 days!!! So we trucked out to downtown Omaha to brave the rain and attempt at keeping things dry. My assistant (i.e. husband) was great about chasing me with the umbrella so I was free to get the angles I wanted! And the couple were great sports about sitting in puddles and roads so I could "get the shot". We had so much fun with Jenn and Phil! Can't wait for their wedding in June!

Love is in the air!!!

aaahhhh..... I love taking pictures of happy people! .....not that I have really taken a ton of pictures of grumpy people.....people in love are just so fun! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it when I tell a guy to look at his bride and he lights up or when I tell a girl to look at her man and you wouldn't think anything else matters in the world. Th couple did just that,lit up each others worlds! Emily and John will be getting married in the fall and needed engagements done because the wedding photographer is a family member from out of state. They wanted a western theme to their pictures so my dearest assistant (my hubby) took me out to his family land to find the perfect spots....and I got to meet some neighbors as well. Nothing like randomly stopping at someones house and asking if you can take a picture of their barn:-)
Due to the rain and crappy weather this session got rescheduled a few times. But I feel the end result was worth. And thanks to my assistant we made it safe back to pavement.
