Hickman Family

God is so good! My last session before baby comes was this past Saturday....I know what some of you are thinking...."but you cancelled our shoot weeks ago because you needed to be done shooting!" And I did! I haven't been working 1/2 as much as I was. This session I didn't have the heart to cancel! I did have a back up plan in case I couldn't do it but God was good and I felt great that day and the weather was beautiful!

This is the Hickman family, they have been my parents neighbors for the past 11 years. It was very important for the family to get these pictures taken and I'm so thankful all the details came together so we could! I love that my job gives me opportunities to bless families with memories that will last long after loved ones are gone.

Miss Caroline

This sweetie comes to my daycare. I have had her since she was 6 weeks old! I can't believe she is 18 months now. Caroline is full of joy and smiling all the time!

Hiatt Family

 

This family is near and dear to my heart, if you can't tell from the photos, this is my oldest sister and her wonderful family. My poor family has to book their sessions right alone with the rest of you because of my crazy schedule. This one was done at 8am. If any of you would like early in the morning sessions I love the lighting at sunrise and I'm usually up:-)

 

 

 

Class of 2013! Plus Family

I took Sam's senior pictures and some family pictures out in Maxwell last week. It was a BEAUTIFUL location right on the river! We had a perfect night to capture some fun images!

Fun Family!

This family has been on my books for over 3 months.....Mom was on the ball getting her fall session booked! If I remember right this is because last year I didn't have space by the time she called. Their son cracked me up! He was all boy! It amazed me that he knew the difference between his "good smile" and his "cheesy smile" Usually this doesn't happen at 6.

Trip to Omaha

About 4 months ago I met this wonderful couple whom I am doing their wedding in 2013. We made a plan that I would come to Omaha and take the engagement pictures downtown.....Then of course it RAINED!!!! For the first time in like 60 days it rained constantly for 2 days!!! So we trucked out to downtown Omaha to brave the rain and attempt at keeping things dry. My assistant (i.e. husband) was great about chasing me with the umbrella so I was free to get the angles I wanted! And the couple were great sports about sitting in puddles and roads so I could "get the shot". We had so much fun with Jenn and Phil! Can't wait for their wedding in June!

Beautiful Family

This is the Taylor Family.... They have come to me since miss Julian was like 6 months old! Now She is a energetic 2 year old with the biggest bluest eyes! And Mr. Danny has enough energy for three 5 year old's! It is a pure joy to see them every now and again.

Blond and blue eyed girl!!!

This is my niece. She has the most B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L big blue eyes you have ever seen! It's hard to believe but I didn't add any blue to them! I'm in love with the whole session!

One blustery day

Last week this family braved the winds to get their pictures taken. It was windy but the lighting perfect! The little man really didn't want much to do with me but we managed to get some great shots of him too:-)
