BABY BABY!!!!!

Have I ever said how much I LOVE BABIES!!!!! AAAHHHHH!!!! They are so sweet and tender. I love the feeling when taking their pictures and talking to them and comforting them! This sweet babies mama is very similar to me. She would be completely happy with a family like the Dugger's....the more the merrier! :-) This precious girl is number 4 in the line up. She is just perfect! And her brother and sisters were dolls too! I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did. Don't feel bad shedding a tear or two. I have just excepted it as part of the process of editing!

Keeping me on my toes!

This little "almost 2 year old" was a bit of a challenge. She really didn't want anything to do with me for about the first 45 min. I got a lot of looks like this........

Then we got a little warmed up to the idea of being the center of attention.....as long as she wasn't contained and we got great shots! She really is a sweet girl...just a tad shy :-) I am glad she warmed up to me!

Yeah for Second Chances!!!

Back in the fall/winter I attempted to take this little girls pictures.....There was ice, rain, wind and a very not having it 3 year old. It was really my first shoot of 0 good pictures I felt like the worst photographer that I couldn't make this girl like me or my camera. I marked it up as "I'll never see them again" and moved on. Well, they called me this spring to try for her 4  year pictures! I was shocked that they wanted ME to try again. This time I brought bribes and "Cool" props to see if I could bribe her to get in front of my camera.

Well, come to find out we didn't need any of it. She had great smiles and even put on a dress for me! I am quite pleased with the images we got.

Love is in the air!!!

aaahhhh..... I love taking pictures of happy people! .....not that I have really taken a ton of pictures of grumpy people.....people in love are just so fun! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it when I tell a guy to look at his bride and he lights up or when I tell a girl to look at her man and you wouldn't think anything else matters in the world. Th couple did just that,lit up each others worlds! Emily and John will be getting married in the fall and needed engagements done because the wedding photographer is a family member from out of state. They wanted a western theme to their pictures so my dearest assistant (my hubby) took me out to his family land to find the perfect spots....and I got to meet some neighbors as well. Nothing like randomly stopping at someones house and asking if you can take a picture of their barn:-)
Due to the rain and crappy weather this session got rescheduled a few times. But I feel the end result was worth. And thanks to my assistant we made it safe back to pavement.

Maternity Shoot

I'm running low on creativity at the moment so don't mind the lack of inspiring words. This family was so fun! I warned dad that he has a model on his hands! Baylee really did steal my heart! I'm sure the little boy will too when he shows up in a few weeks too. I just love babies! 

Yeah for BUSY 1 year olds!!!

This sweet girl turned 1 the end of March. I was so excited to Norah in front of my camera and her mommy had some great ideas ready for us. But Some sometimes they have different plans for us! Norah didn't really have any interest staying in one location very long and really had no desire to look at me. So although the number of good pictures is lower then usual. I still feel like we got some great ones!

Watch me grow!

Super Model!!!!

I was so excited when Rose called needing pictures for her upcoming graduation from College and pictures of her soon to be 1 year old! What a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L girl she is! and Her daughter too:-) I have grown up knowing this family, they have another daughter (just as beautiful) that is my age and has a great name :-) Their family is so genuine and sweet! hope you enjoy this small sample of their shoot!
